    Our client is seeking a qualified individual to fulfill the role of Maintenance Technician. This position will contribute to a manufacturing environment. This is a full-time position, and hours and days of work are determined by the shift. Working overtime and/or weekends may be required as necessary. CG Roxane LLC bottles spring water under the brand name “Crystal Geyser® Alpine Spring Water®”. The company has six manufacturing facilities throughout the Unites States and is currently seeking qualified candidates for the position of Production Maintenance Technician for its Benton, TN facility.

    Responsibilities

    • Safely reduce production downtime by making preventative and emergency repairs on the production line as a top priority.
    • Proactively support a preventative and predictive maintenance culture.
    • Working within a team concept to initiate overall machinery reliability.
    • Must be flexible in the job duties assigned, along with hours and work schedule. Maintenance technician will be required to work as operator on machines.
    • Must adhere to the Company’s employment and hygiene policies.
    • Must be able to effectively communicate with co-workers and management.
    • Prepare, organize and handle improvement projects for machinery and equipment as directed by management.
    • Attendance at maintenance and management meetings as required.
    • Must follow a preventive maintenance schedule.
    • Responsible for general maintenance and greasing of machines.
    • Proper documentation must be submitted when modifications are required.
    • Responsible for accurate documentation of all maintenance completed in the maintenance log book and recording of all greasing performed on the greasing report.
    • Responsible for inventory of parts and overall cleanliness of the maintenance shop.
    • Production maintenance technicians are responsible for the start-up and shut down of the production lines.
    • Assist in the responsibility of giving breaks to operators. Communicate with the line director/shift leader in order to receive instruction as to who to break and at what times.
    • Must be skilled in the operation of all production line equipment and prepared to successfully operate the machinery as required.
    • Maintaining a safe working environment at all times is essential.
    • Must act in an intelligent, mature and responsible manner, and maintain the standards of high quality work performance.
    • All other duties as assigned by management.

    Qualifications

    • Attendance and punctuality is essential.
    • Experience or training in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on production machinery.
    • The ability to read and interpret machinery schematics drawings, diagrams and printed instructions.
    • Hands-on experience with AC/DC motor controls, drives and PLC components.
    • Experience in a food manufacturing plant is a plus.
    • Experience in fabricating and welding parts and equipment is a plus.
